Apoiar-se no Senhor

Inclinando-se no Senhor significa dependendo Dele. O que você faz quando você se apoiar em alguma coisa? Você confiante que irá realizar-lo. Quando você confiar em Deus significa mais do que apenas "eu acredito em Deus." Isso significa: "Eu estou confiando Nele para me segurar."

Quem ou o que você está inclinando-se para a força? Você está inclinando-se sobre a aprovação das outras pessoas? Essa é uma base muito instável. As pessoas vão deixar você para baixo. Ninguém pode prendê-lo o tempo todo, porque eles são seres humanos.

Você não pode confiar nem em si mesmo. Você já descobriu que muitas vezes você deixe para baixo? Você faz promessas para si mesmo o tempo todo, você não manter. Se você disser: "Eu só vai depender de mim!" você vai se decepcionar. Então, o que você faz?

"Confie no Senhor de todo o seu coração e não se apóie em seu próprio entendimento. Em todos os teus caminhos reconhecê-Lo e Ele endireitará as tuas veredas." (Provérbios 03:05 NVI)

Inclinando-se no Senhor é assustador. É desconfortável às vezes. Ela pode fazer você pensar: "Será que Deus vai vir passar? É que ele vai me segurar?" Mas isso é o que inclinando-se na fé é tudo.

Lean on the Lord 

Leaning on the Lord means depending on Him. What do you do when you lean on something? You trusting it will hold you up. When you lean on God it means more than just "I believe in God." It means, "I am trusting Him to hold me up." 

Who or what are you leaning on for strength? Are you leaning on the approval of other people? That is a very shaky foundation. People are going to let you down. Nobody can hold you up all the time because they're human beings. 

You can't even trust in yourself. Have you discovered that you often let yourself down? You make promises to yourself all the time you don't keep. If you say, "I'll just depend on me!" you'll disappoint yourself. So what do you do? 

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5 NIV) 

Leaning on the Lord is scary. It's uncomfortable sometimes. It can make you think, "Is God going to come through? Is He going to hold me up?" But that's what leaning in faith is all about.
